This part is listed for the SD 255 but I have the SD 253 but I needed a rye mixing blade for it which isn't available for the 253 however the picture looked like the blade fitting on the 253 that I have, and I took a chance and it fits and works perfectly. Makes good rye bread . For owners of the 253 use the wholesale setting for rye
