Review: Very disappointing

The delivery was to time and appeared ok. I read the order and receipt and there were no special instructions so I put the delivery on one side until I was ready to use it as I was away for a couple of days that week. However on opening the plastic packaging I noted the descaler had leaked and the cardboard box the twin pack was housed in was damp. This was a surprise as the packaging was intact so I can only assume that this was leaking/ loose when packed. I didn't open the box and don't know if 1 or both leaked. I contacted yourspares to be told it was too late I had 48 hours to notify the damage to the item/ return it and this had passed, I think it was day 3/4 when I emailed them. I have explained that there is nothing noted at the point of delivery to advise of the 2 day rule or as a memory on the order/ receipt note so I don't accept what they have said but I am still awaiting a response. I have told them that It can be clearly seen that the box has not been opened but they don't appear interested. First time I have ordered anything from them and I am so glad it wasn't anything expensive, won't do this again.
