It's not completely universal, the connector thats on the hose didn't fit in the back of my machine, i have the 3kg white knight tumble dryer, which is a small machine.
The hose did fit on my old connector.
The hose smells a bit funny once its warm but its starting to fade now not sure if that's because I'm getting used to the smell or not, over all im happy with my purchase.
